Videos of Gordon Park

This Video was taken in 1986 at Gordon Park's 50th Annaversary celebrations. I believe Norman Scott paid a proffessional to travel all the way out to GP, and using the latest technology, a very rough Video recording was made of the event - so it is with thanks to Norman Scott that we can view this today ( I'm just hopeing he wasnt keeping it to supplement his Old-Age pension!). It's a "1st attempt" & appears very dark, so will be replaced with a lighter version next month. It is stored on Youtube.com which only allows 10minute videos - so I have spliced it into 2 - just click on the big arrow in the middle of each picture to run the video (clicking anywhere else will jump you into youtube.com)
Part 1 and Part 2.
Text for Part 1 and text for Part 2.

Above are the text of names of people and places that appear in the video. If you recognise anyone and can add to the list - please let me know - thanks (oneday I'll find out how to put them in as scrolling sub-titles). A lot of the original voices in the above sound-track were recorded by Wayne Jolly, whom I believe sadly passed away in Nov 2001.

Its an ipod video - viewed best on a screen 2 inches by 2 inches (and is a lot clearer and brighter); If you appear in this and want a copy of the full-screen dvd, just yell.
